Hello! I am an Educator at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and recent Ph.D. graduate from the Department of Information Culture and Data Stewardship at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Computing and Information. Along with conducting my research on socio-materiality and information practices in museums, I previously worked as a Graduate Student Researcher on projects led by Dr. Alison Langmead and Dr. Nora Mattern. I was also a Graduate Teaching Assistant for courses in Library and Information Science and Computer Science at SCI and a Team Lead of Gallery Experience in the Carnegie Museum of Natural History’s Lifelong Learning department.

Prior to my time at Pitt, I received an MLIS from the University of Denver with a focus in archives and a BA from the University of Colorado Denver in art history with minors in philosophy and religious studies. At various stages in life, I have been an archivist for art and religious collections, an art preparator and exhibitions assistant, an alpine ski racer and coach, and almost every customer-facing position in the food industry. 

When not working on scholarly pursuits, I am usually somewhere in the woods with my dogs, faking cooking expertise, or getting too attached to characters in Korean dramas.
